When At Times

To when times were simpler,

and nights were longer,

The air was clearer,

and our hearts were lighter.

We'd take long walks, and talk for hours,

Try out every flavor of the 'sweet and sour',

Lie down all day under the bower,

Admiring the bewitching wild flowers.

For when times were simpler,

And nights were longer,

We'd snuggle into each other,

And hug a little tighter.
