A Moment In The Aurora

Sauntering on the frigid wintry roads

How a tired soul could see through phosphenes

Breathing myself into oblivion Oh heart, are you really in a scurry?

This heart doesn’t need no moments of funk

Ephemeral is all that fluster

Ambling around the garden Realizing how stress is a kind of a ransom

Releasing it all

For this moment wants to save me from the fall

What was the time? It was time to clasp Clasp onto this moment

Letting the arms and legs of this jiffy sprawl Never the perfect time to take a call

Discerning the right time to flee Before I overlook how beautiful it could all be Breathing in this moment of the aurora For once setting this unfeigned soul free This high will last forever For it put my scattered soul back together
